Land of the Free & Home of the Brave {America} ~ Cream

Penned by Francis Scott Key, our national anthem was inspired by the battle of Fort McHenry during the War of 1812.  The infamous Maryland fort was being ambushed by night, but when daybreak came, a lone American flag was flying over the fort. Today, we still celebrate that flag, the freedoms it represents, and the many brave men and women who have stood in the face of opposition to defend it. We honor them today and everyday! We're thankful to be a part of the land of the free and the home of the brave!
